2. Way more than 87 Billion in Iraq. That was just the most recent slice.
Also, there is 8 billion dollars in cash not accounted for from Bremer's days in Iraq in 2003.

3. No possible way for a Dem President to fix Health Care. There will
be nothing but debt & depression left when Dems get into power.

4. You assume that Dems will be 'allowed' back in power, even after all this.
I hope you're right.

5. I recognize that quote
It's from Getty (or someone similar); originally it was "a million here, a million there, pretty soon, you're talking real money." 'Course that was over 70 years ago.

"I want... 1...... million..... dollars" from that stupid movie.

The Trillion-Dollar War
Linda Bilmes

http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/082105D.shtml

Even assuming that the 525,000 American troops who have so far served in Iraq and Afghanistan will require treatment only on the same scale as their predecessors from the gulf war, these payments are likely to run at $7 billion a year for the next 45 years.

. . .

Even by this simple yardstick, if the American military presence in the region lasts another five years, the total outlay for the war could stretch to more than $1.3 trillion, or $11,300 for every household in the United States.
