Nope, sorry. The "Haunted Mansion" speech ain't bouncing.
No bounce. It was weird, disconnected, spooky and it pissed off his base, and not just freepers. My husband just talked to his boss, a bushie from the word go. He said, and I quote, "WHAT was THAT shit about? Now he's some kinda COMMIE, just GIVING away money to people???" Husband just laughed. Wondered how this guy didn't notice he's been giving away money to people for a long time, they're just called Halliburton and the incredibly wealthy et al.

Yep. That's a guy who gave plenty o'money to the chimpy campaign in 2000 and 2004. And oh, he's madder than a wet cat. He went on to say they better "put up someone better than this" in 2008 or he doesn't know what the hell he'll do.

Um. Vote Green?

The Haunted Mansion speech.

This is great!

He just gets worse and worse.

They have finally "lost it".

Too bad this didn't happen about 10 months ago (apologies to Katrina Victums everywhere).

5. Oh he definitely doesn't.
I just think it's funny how MUCH it pissed him off. I could hear him yelling on the phone from across the room. Husband was holding the phone away from his ear.

I was being facetious... Green backs is another name for money. His type never votes for anything sustainable or which cannot be immediately tied back to his wallet. (Never mind progressive politics are usually great economic sense in the long term).

8. What was up with him MATCHING the lighting?
It made the whole thing look creepy. If that was supposed to be uplifting, shit, I don't even WANT to see what they do for a depressing speech.

24. 2006 and 2008 could be big third party years. many not happy w/ 2 parties
They steal so much from each other when they smell trouble or political opportunity and as with the Iraq war, go into fraudulent partnership, when (what would you call it?-post 9/11) there is a strong seeming push for a "muscular response" to something.

However, the Democrats should clean up in 2006 because historically they have honestly and forthrightly stood for social justice even at a price.

Republicans are good for nothing and that's not hyperbole from me.

I mean after all- they only need to "put up someone better" than Bush next time. That shouldn't be too hard at all. These people make the same mistake over and over.

33. know what
was thinking about this rebuilding thing

with all our hurricanes we have had many insurance companies just up and leave....we had to look high and low to find one to cover my House.and the state has a program that covers people who can't get insurance anywhere else.....now OUR own insurance companies have to charge us 7% more for home owners insurance to help pay for other People who are with the state program(citizens insurance)....I figure I am paying alot more now than a year ago.

anyways.....I think this is going to backfire on bush.because...how are people going to rebuild......if they CANNOT get homeowners insurance in that area?........and if by chance they do .....it's going to be so expensive....no minimum wage job can handle that payment...think bush knows this?
