If you have a possessive, there needs be something that the noun possesses.
You set up a field called "Shrub optimist", and then implied that this person owns something, and that something is plural (since you said "sicken" instead of "sickens") - objects, moods, feelings, posts, thoughts, whatever - but you don't say what. You are missing the critical word.
The Shrub optimist's WHAT (plural) sicken you? This is what I am interested in.
