1. To sink government faster into debt because they know the next
Democratic President will have no money and will finally face the 2001 recession.

7. Sadly so true
We are a village that is being raped and pillaged. The pirates will leave us here, decimated, and they get to ride away with the loot.
That is why impeachment is so important.

16. I posted this earlier

If we have three more years, we may not be able to recover. I'm getting worried about the strength of the dollar as opposed to the Euro.

4. Yes everyone heard what Bush said,
but lets see if all the promises are kept. He seems to never follows through with his promises. Lets see if he rolls back the tax break to the rich. We will see in good time.

11. Thank you
In this tragic case, just look at the obvious:

Volunteers aren't needed means "We have Repuke friends we're paying instead."

Turning away free water, search and rescue, and body recovery for days means, "The Rightwing contractor we hired to pass out water/do search and rescue/recover bodies is playing golf in Scotland. When he gets back, he'll handle this."

Ching ching, ching ching $$$$$$$$$$$$$

More money to **'s cronies means more money donated to repukes....

9. Bushco
Unlimited defense spending, generous tax cuts for the rich, never-ending war, out of control pork-barrel funding, now this Katrina re-build. Many have suggested that Bushco is intentionally de-funding the government. As our debt reels out of control, our foreign creditors will demand belt tightening. The administration will create sufficient terror alerts to ensure that all future government funds not needed for debt repayment will go to defense. As such, with no social programs, US citizens wil have to depend on churches for needs previously handled by the government. Gives the mullahs the power they crave. Welcome to Iran.
