I've figured out the 'SCAM' Bush&co. ran here in Arkansas! |
|
Two days after Katrina hit it was announced that 9,000 people would be moved to Ft. Chaffee for semi-permanet housing (old army base). Locally, pleas went out for clothing, TVs, books, baby-care and personal items. I sent large boxes and TV sets and money and stuff to Ft. Chaffee.
Then they suddenly emptied the place! Without a week, all those people had been transferred to 'church' campgrounds around the state.
After *'s speech, I now see why. The 'faith-based' orgs are going to be reimbused with tax payer dollars! So they will get money for all the tons of stuff donated by the people!
God, I hate this group of crooks running the country!

1. I thought it odd myself when I saw a minister on tv last week -- |
|
he said that he had called the white house repeatedly about getting a piece of the pie. I thought, why are these churches asking for money? Isn't that what all the hoopla was about? That faith-based institutions supplement the monies that are spent by the government.
You are on to something. There is something oddly efficient about how these people everywhere have been moved out of shelters so quickly. How did they have the plans together to do this without something being fishy?

2. So-called compassionate conservatives say donate so that taxes not needed. |
|
Baloney.
Now churches are going to be a money laundering operation.
