Pledge of Allegiance is a non-issue... |
|
Big Deal. Kids don't know what the hell they are mumbling or what it means in the morning anyway.
My personal opinion is that it shouldn't be said, at all.
It's indoctrination.
It's the beginning of inculcating into young minds to not question their government.
It's the beginning of the "we're number one" mentality.
But putting that aside, it's an issue the left can only lose and the right can only win. There are bigger fish to fry than this stupid issue.

The proper response is not to take the bait. People have real matters to worry about. Any Dem politician who falls for this trap gets a big wedgie next time I seem him/her.

2. For 'Genuine' fundamentalist 'Christ'ians, it really |
|
should be- because biblically the bible says no one should make an oath to anything- not country- not flag- not ANYTHING other than God. So it is hypocrisy once again- for those who claim the 'righteous' path- A 'christ'ians only allegiance should be to God.
They don't like hearing that though.
