2. Maybe he is trying to wiggle his way to the "inside", |
|
to find out "stuff". Like a super secret agent or something ;-)

For what reason? -- or for WHOSE benefit? Ask yourself that, and be honest in your reply, and you'll understand how sad I feel about BILL AND BUSH's EXCELLENT ADVENTURES, and what they probably mean for this Party.
He needs to go and tend his own Foundation and help the people of Africa, and stop meddling in the politics of the U.S., imo. Be it Bush or Hillary, he's a walking, talking unfair advantage for whomever he supports whenever he opens his mouth. TC

3. Clinton's buddy/buddy routine with Poppy has really made me wonder.... |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 10:26 AM by tex-wyo-dem
why? It's either:
1.) He's snuggling up to the powers that be to make it more possible for his wife to get elected in '08.
2.) They have something on him (i.e. blackmail).
3.) He's trying to improve his image/legacy and erase any memory of Lewinsky, which is the prevailing memory of many a freeper.
or
4.) He's just a nice guy and a patriot and knows that the best way to make a difference in his post-presidential life is to work with the powers that be, no matter who it is.

I want him to do it. That's his decision how he does it.

him, how about using his presence right now to indicte Junior's misuse of Govt. power and funds?

8. Bill has been pissing me off lately. |
|
Dont get me wrong, I have been one of his strong supporters over the years, butt ever since he started sleeping with the bushtapo it has been the greatest insult.
When he supported the bushtapo, left Jimmy Carter behind, and attended the Pope's funeral, it was more than I could bear.
I do feel that he turned his back on the Democratic Party at that time.

9. This doesn't really hurt us... |
|
...it shows who is the better man, frankly.
If Bush is so incompetent he needs Clinton (the right-wing's second favorite antichrist behind Kerry)to come in and bail him out when he's in trouble, doesn't that show what a pansy* Bush is?
(*and for my gay friends, I don't want to hear any shit about me using the word "pansy". We've already had two damn threads about it, and I'm going to keep saying it. I'm not using it in the dictionary meaning that is pejorative to homosexuals, but in the second definition, which is "a weak and ineffectual person")

I didn't know there was that definition. I always just thought a pansy was a pansy, like a flower... not a gay person. Guess ya learn something everday huh

10. Clinton could do positive things WITHOUT screwing us |
|
Hurricane Katrina is a disaster. We all need to rally around efforts to rebuild and aid the victims.
But that does not mean propping up Bush and undermining the need for liberals/progressives/Democrats to tell the truth about the underlying rot it has exposed.
The Republicans will use this effort to advance their political and ideological interests. We don't need to have leaders like Clinton assisting them.

15. I totally agree...Bill is the one person in this |
|
country with a proven record of humanitarianism who is hugely credible re aid and rebuilding. I just don't want him to validate goofy's speech as a good workable plan when we all know it is an empty sack of lies.
