The Bush-Be-Gone Index is a new daily search engine poll that seeks to determine the public mood with respect to the idea of getting President George W. Bush out of office through impeachment, resignation or some vague idea of removal. The higher the score, the greater the mood for Bush-be-gone.

Today's score: 1000 -- down from 1266 yesterday

Note: The dropoff is either due to a Google anomaly, or chatter related to one tested phrase dropped off dramatically six months ago. It doesn't appear that Bush's 9/15 speech had anything to do with this dropoff.
