RWer's seem to forget Reagan funded the Contra terrorists
To terrorize the people of Nicaragua in the name of helping them. Whenever they go on about how great he was, I throw that up in their faces.

1. Sean Hannity actually called them "Freedom Fighters."
I actually felt bile rise in my throat when I heard him say that.

4. Freedom fighter, terrorist. The only difference appears to be
if they are on the GOP agenda and payroll or not.

2. Not to mention that he got that funding
By selling weapons to Iran, now at number 2 with a bullet on George Bush's Top 10 Terrorist Nation Hit Parade.

3. USA & Britain and others had some pretty nifty plans back in the day.
They also did away with the democratically elected leader of Iran back in the 1950s. Replaced him with the Shaw. That went well didn't it?

Yeah - the neocons war in Iraq was about undoing their own wrongheaded neocon policies of the 1980s (Middle East isn't ready for democracy yet so we should be dealing with strongmen of one kind or another).

Now they again have wrong policy.

Have they ever been right? Ever?

6. The Saudis helped fund the murder too
At some point during the whole Iran-Contra crimes, the Saudis were the BIGGEST monetary contributors to the murders and crimes that occurred.
