How many in Congress right now appreciate how many People feel
that Congress passed-the-buck on Bush's War, when we needed them most.

I'm angry. I feel betrayed. I know I'm supposed to forgive, but I ***won't forget who gave Bush this power***, which now turns into that stupid old dodgy game of "Plausible DeniabilitY". So many of us could see it as it came down on us. I called and called and called my Rep. and Sens. Their best info about WMD was 10 yrs old, and yet they harrassed the UN Inspections teams. It was all so obvious; this is why I feel Congress sold us out. I know I'm not the only person who feels like this.

1. buck stops with bush. bush is responsible. bush executed the war
and the events afterwards. that is huge, simply huge in the result of the mess we are in today. it seems there are always those that must continually come in to redirect the anger towards the democrats. the ones not in power, the ones not making the decisions, the ones not being stupid, non reading, greedy assholes. eye on the ball. bush is the culprit. why are we rustlin up confrontation for dem. i always wonder..... what the motive could be.

surely there are others here with me. see bush as the enemy. see bush as the responsible party. i know i am not the ONLY person that feels this way

2. It is not a dichotomy to me, but an event of many facets.

Some of which are Taboo.

I am trying to tell you how I feel about their PART in what happened, a thing that is an empirical truth.

I wouldn't dream of telling you what your feelings should be.

3. This is Bush's war, he wanted it, he "fixed the intelligence", he lied and
he did whatever it took to get it. For those that doubted Bush would pursue diplomacy, he sent Colin Powell to reassure them that war would be the last resort -- it was really all about getting the inspectors in, said Colin. . . .

6. The Primary Responsibility is Bush's.
"We", the people of the U.S., are enablers of various types at various power-levels of "our" dynamic.

4. I did the same thing you did about the reps in congress. I blame the
repub party. All of them are responsible for this. Not one fell out of line on any lie that has come up over the last 2 years.

And then there are the Democrats who should have known better. If we knew all this stuff why didn't they? It really irked me to vote for Kerry because he voted for the authorization.

But I'm beyond mad now. I think it's all over. The USA, the country, and eventually the government. The repubs have gone too far on all fronts and the enemy is turning out to be the entire rest of the world. I think we're doomed. It was nice while it lasted. Time to look at how to raise our own food, make our own clothes, and live without oil and electricity.

5. Really?
With a million people homeless, thousands dead, millions more in economic trouble because of the fall-out, a new give-away to the corporations disguised as aid...

and you're thinking about the war vote???

Why do I highly doubt that.

patrice, I'll have to remember that name.

too. "I'll have to remember that name." sounds like George Bush. Are you going to get your buddies to bother me too? You need to ask yourself if you really are a Fascist.
