Dick Morris on Bush: "Man is he fortunate!"
Dick Morris just loved President Bush's speech last night. It had the most important component he likes. Morris calls it a "female" speech. Then there was this way out exchange at the end of the segment.

Morris:..he believes that they should fight wars and that was the first term, and they believe they should recover from disasters and that's the second term. Man, is this guy fortunate.

Stunned Hannity: Fortunate to have a disaster?

He does try to recovers, but he had a little too much glee in his eyes. Politically speaking, Morris thinks it's just so great that Bush has all these disasters to attend to so he can look like a hero trying to fix them. Did it ever dawn on Dick that the President might bear some culpability in the overall response and or protection from these disasters to begin with?

8. Bush may be fortunate. The rest of the US is suffering.
Dick Morris is such a ______. Fill in the blank. 100 points if you get the right answer. Hint -- rhymes with sick. Why do they put him on TV, for laughs? Problem is that no one can associate anything pleasant with Bush's presidency -- not one happy moment. Nothing but depressing news. From the economic recession to 9/11 to Katrina to the failure of the Iraq war, one disaster after the other.

In the early years of Bush's presidency, he could rely on the upbeat spirit that Clinton brought to the American people through Clinton's service, his policies and accomplishments. But now, what remained of the buoyancy of the Clinton years is fading away. The taste in the mouths of Americans is a putrid mixture of blood and dirty water. It isn't just that Bush's tenure has been marked by disaster after disaster, it's that he hasn't sponsored or suggested much less carried out a single initiative or program that have worked or that has even excited or given hope to ordinary Americans. His presidency is fundamentally flawed and has totally failed. The associations in the minds of Americans with Bush are just horrible -- 9/11, Iraq, Katrina -- all Bush failures in one way or another, either due to his neglect, mismanagement or inattention.

Sorry, Dick, your analysis is flawed and your optimism misplaced. How about a little honesty for once. Tell Bush to resign while he is ahead. It's the wisest thing he can do. He is not going to recover because he has nothing positive to offer to the American people.

12. Morris: go read Hegel.
The concept is "controlled chaos" through which the elites manipulate the riches into their own pockets.
