LOL! Local news (CBS Tulsa) covering W's "may I potty" note!
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 05:32 PM by karlrschneider
This is a pretty rightwing station in an obviously very red part of the world. I'll be listening for wingnut heads exploding up and down the block...
:D

edit: They also covered Tom Coburn doing the x-word puzzle. BWAHAHAHAHA

other edit: argh, I misspelled "listening"...:eyes:

3. I think this plays fine with Bush's base
They don't give a shit about the UN anyway. So Bush is more concerned about taking a piss than actually listening to the discussion.

Bush's base loves that.

8. You may be right. * showing disrespect for UN might be what they
like to see.

4. Just curious...
...what else did Junior write on that note.

After his potty question--which was flanked by a question mark--was some other wording.

Do we know what the post-potty words are?

I found it odd that he would frame those words, "I think I may need a bathroom break" with a question mark.

"I think I may need a bathroom break" is a declarative sentence.

A question mark indicates that he didn't know whether or not he had to tinkle.

Was he confused about going to the potty?

14. The next line read "Is this possible ???" , with the ??? being an
indistinguishable partial word he* was writing when the pic was snapped.

5. Hey are the OK anchors all still very pale white boys + 1 blonde girl?
If memory serves me the anchors in Ok look like the anchors in Indiana and Mississippi...

Good news that they are making fun of "W" - very good news!

:bounce:

7. Why, that's almost just like the Daily Show!
Tom Coburn later tore himself away from his puzzle break to weep crocodile tears over the "divisiveness" in politics today.

The Daily Show then showed some of Tom's own divisive statements. (I forget the exact comments but it was standard RW nutjob boilerplate about the Gays destroying civilization, etc,.)

10. LOL
Hilarious. Even my dad said he heard about the crossword puzzle at work. LOL. So people are talking. I wonder if he's heard about the potty note yet. I'll have to ask him. I still think it's silly. So the note has been confirmed as true??

11. Silliness
I myself use the bathroom several times a day. This is just plain silly. In my humble opinion.

15. I agree
I think it is much ado about nothing. I wish they would cover something worthwhile instead of something so ridiculous, everyone uses the bathroom...BFD!x(
