Freepers are always worried about someone taking their money
I assume most of them are not rich, corporate execs. Those of them who aren't rich should know the Republicans do want to take their money to prop up corporate bigwigs with subsidies. They also want to cut wages, which is even worse than taxation. Who wants your money? Bush, Cheney and Halliburton that's who.

2. The freepers I know are chicken-shit racists afraid of their own shadows.
And I've known quite a few in my time.

7. Yup. And as long as they get spoonfed their pablum of hate and fear...
...they ignore the REAL truths all around them.

B*shCabalInc™ keeps its base because its base is DELUSIONAL,
and they maintain the delusions.

God forbid the LIBERALS ever take over the country;
they'd all be opressed under the crushing heel of fair wages,
clean air and personal freedoms!

3. I'll never understand why it's ok with them for us to spend billions
in Iraq, and then scream bloody murder about money spent to rebuild one of our own cities. Them really make so sense at all.

4. They actually believe Bush is just like them
What they don,t realize is that Bush et al refer to them as 'the help'.

8. I bet the Bush in-crowd
says crueler things about their redneck base than you would ever see in the worst moments of DU.

I would suspect the contempt that the wealthy elite has for the bible-believing America-first base is just incredible.

5. really think this is the root
of RW philosophy. They are worried about anyone taking their money and their stuff.
They really are the free lunch crowd.

15. no, not free lunch-
afraid to believe anyone could be generous, or kind, and because of that they refuse to BE THE CHANGE.-

It's my biggest beef with the concept of libertarianism- 'me, myself and I' .... screw community- Survival of the greediest, until the greediest have to BE the cannon fodder, or work the fields- and live solely on what they can actually provide for themselves.

9. That's because they're losers who strut as if they're well-off
If they were competent in the only thing that matters to them (obtaining money) they might not be so terrified of paying their dues to the society that gives them so much, but since they're marginal schlubs, they're petrified that their meager pile might be at risk. They know they're incapable of making the kind of money they puff and fake having, so they have to be stingy pricks and mooch off of the rest of us.

11. One of the more obnoxious freepers I know
is a guy with a disability who is raising three kids as a single parent. He is on food stamps and has a full scholarship to college. He and his kids are also on medicaid. Yet he adamantly opposes most govt subsidized social welfare programs.

So can we call freepers SELFISH FOOLS??

16. He thinks he earned what he gets
But he is disabled due to a car wreck with a drunk driver. Somehow in his mind being victimized is worth points on a social welfare scale.

13. They don't bitch about Cheney's "elective" surgery
but are freaking out on someone (supposedly) having a beer on a FEMA card. Their priorities are fried.

14. because they are 'broke'...
or should I say 'broken'. The notion that safety can be bought, or that money ensures happiness or contentment is what drives many folks. The sad reality in that, is that when your concept of living is one where you cannot look to anyone but yourself for ANYTHING- and that money is the be-all and end-all of existance, you create a self-fulfilling society.

From what 'I' have experienced, the tighter you hold onto your money, the less you have in real wealth. The more 'I' give, (even in a lack of 'enough' to make ends meet) the more my families actual needs are covered- in often the most unexpected and creative ways.

I don't think those who covet money, and worship the power they buy with it (or try to buy) are very satisfied, or contented. Believing 'things' or 'stuff' or 'having enough' will make a person ok, is a really sad, defeated way of living. Because all the 'stuff' in the world, won't protect anyone from dying, illness, or accidents.

A 'war on terror' is a waste of time, energy, and human effort. A celebration of life, and humanity, and looking for ways to enrich each other, and build community throughout the world, is the best prevention to discontent, anger, and violence.

That isn't a pipe dream, its the only hope left for this dying planet.
