A little humor from Hurricane Katrina Country
Aaron Brousard, Jefferson Parrish President in Louisiana said that hearing g bush's first speech concerning the hurricane was like hearing someone say:

I'M SORRY TO HEAR YOUR CAT GOT RUN OVER.

Brousard, in a politically correct moment went on to say that bush has done better since then.

1. I love that guy..
Whenever the talking heads put him on the air, he tells the whole truth and nothing but. He has looked into the face of hell and doesn't give a rats ass for the protocols of speaking to muckamucks.

4. He's a straight shooter
On the radio, He told bush pick up the phone and order his generals and admirals to get us help and then hang up the phone and call the red cross and get us help and then hang up the phone and he went on and on all the time holding a plastic bag of his human waste because he wanted to dispose of it properly and not contaminate his area. Love him or hate him, he is working his ass off for his constituents.

5. Thank you very much
Minimal damage, lots of trees down, neighbors working hard to make everything right. We'll be okay. I don't know what will kill me but it will not be a hurricane because me and mine are driving hard and fast away from those acts of nature. Thanks very much for your kind post. Its good to be an OLD MAN.

8. Dont you go getting me tearing up now
Amidst the tree cutting and the carpet pulling and removing I'm still an ugly hunk of veteran to fool with. I just got my ACLU card which I proudly keep near my military retirement card. I just love to chitchat with chickenhawks. Your words and sentiments are more kind than you will ever know. Now lets go kick us some republican ass. You keep fighting the good fight. Our country, like New Orleans will soon let the good times roll.

7. Greatly appreciate your kind response
Brousard is a hoot. However, when it hit the fan he was desperate and the local radio networks turned the mikes over to him for awhile. He had a godawful job for days with looting and families coming and going and flooding and no power or drinkable water. I don't know the man but he was a pillar of strength.

GEORGE BUSH GET ON THE DAMN PHONE AND GET US SOME HELP.

My sense of humor?? - I've lugged about three thousand tons of pine trees today but I'm alive and healthy (kinda) and my family has a roof and electricity and water and PIZZA. And tomorrow I've got several more tons of trees to move. Nothing would make me happier than if bush or haley barbour strolled onto my property and asked me if I would ever vote for a republican. Never have, never will. My sense of humor is intact. Let the good times roll Crispini.

10. Hey Chief!!!!
Good to see your name come up again. Lot of people worried even though we knew you were pretty well away from the Gulf Coast.
After the Navy, I went AF and spent a bit over a year at Keesler in Biloxi. That was when Mississippi was still dry (yeah, right!!) and I did enjoy liberty there. I haven't been there for a very many years and now there is no "there' to go to.
Fair winds, Chief.
