You know, this kind of shit just amazes me. Not only does W hire the most incompetent people for important positions, but they have the absolute inability to think outside of the box or use even a modicum of brainpower toward reasonability. It seems to me that if a doctor could present some sort of verifiable credentials, let them work. They have, on average twice the education any bureaucratic hack has, and probably ten times the experience in doing their skill compared to anyone "in charge" at FEMA.

Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath, promising to help those in need. The Bush cabal takes the Hypocritic Oath, promising to benefit only those loyal to their cause, and to screw any who may oppose.

I'm going to write yet another email to my Representative and Senators. My Congressional Representative has responded to my outrage about what happened in New Orleans etc. He was in Houston speaking and listening to the evacuees and he is from Washington State -- but he still went and tried to do what he could.

'You're not federalized.' Which means -- just let the people die.

Is that the Federal Plan? Anyone who can get away -- can live and anyone who can't is left to die?
