FEMA also stonewalled veterinarians after Katrina

There was a report this morning on Weekend Edition about vets not having any supplies, while at the same time FEMA refused to let them import their own or spend their own money on it. The worst part was that the FEMA spokes-vet couldn't even offer an explanation for HIS OWN ORGANIZATION. How frustrating is that? There's a guy who hates his job.
