"Senate Testimony: Agent To Reveal Neo-Con Coverup of Atta ID Next Week"
Edited on Sat Sep-17-05 07:05 PM by understandinglife
I follow all of this closely, as some of you know.

In this case, I'm just going to suggest you read the thread at dKos:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/9/17/14243/4608

and, the comments.

If anyone thinks that business-as-usual is going to continue in "America," they are incorrect.

The 'revolution' will indeed be televised, blogged and podcast, and I hope none of you are planning for a comfy 'holiday season.'

If only it could be peaceful, but, unfortunately the people who could have led and effected the peaceful removal of Bush and the neoconsters don't have the courage to step forward, call a national 'time out,' and make the criminals resign and then indict and prosecute them.

Peace.

1. There's a few who are on our side:
Conyers, McKinney, Lee, Boxer, Kucinich to name a few. But those who just want to keep the status quo (and that includes the majority of the Dems) are certainly to blame for this. No leadership there. No sirreeBob. Did you read "the Coming Revolution" on the homepage? Interesting stuff.

4. I was impressed that Skinner placed "The Coming Revolution" on the DU ...
... Homepage.

I agree that we have numerous courageous Congresspersons and you have named several. But, the folk with the name recognition and power have been way too timid for way too long.

If Al Gore, Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Howard Dean stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial with Conyers, Boxer, Woolsey, McKinney, Lee, Slaughter, Kucinich and others and said STOP -- YOU ARE CRIMINALS AND TRAITORS AND WE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU ONE MORE SECOND OF OPPORTUNITY TO KILL AMERICA, AMERICANS OR OTHERS -- then, yes, we might actually avoid violence, we might actually emerge as the America our Constitution describes.

But, short of that, it's going to be brave people against as brutal a regime as has ever existed on this planet.

Bush and the neoconsters are practitioners of high-tech murder, torture and devastation and unrelenting treasonous acts against America.

It's time for everyone to confront the decision -- with them or against them.

Peace.

6. RFKJr: "how did they get so many draft dodgers in one place?"
I look at this White House and I ask myself - and this may be unfair - but I ask myself a lot of times, how did they get so many draft dodgers in one place? You know, the president, Dick Cheney five deferments; John Ashcroft, six deferments. Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Tom DeLay, all of their buddies. Dennis Hassert, Rush Limbaugh, well, you know, there are a lot of people who dodged the draft during the Vietnam War and I know a lot of them.

Most of them did it because they had moral qualms about that war. But not these people.

These people love the war; they just wanted somebody else to fight it. And it occurs to me that the reason for that is that these are people who don’t understand the values that makes America worth fighting for. But America is worth fighting for and it’s worth dying for.

Those of us who know that it’s worth fighting for have to take it back now from those who don’t.

From We Must Take America Back by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on September 17, 2005

Well. Well. Now that's clear.

And, no problem with 'name recognition.'

Please move to the front of the class, Mr Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Peace.

13. BLISTERING speech by Kennedy!
America is worth fighting for and it’s worth dying for.

I agree.

7. That is exactly what frightens me.
They truly are criminals when confronted they will prove it. I am convinced this is why Kerry did not contest Ohio.

12. I think the folk with name recognition and power
have it because they've been compromised.

15. In all most all cases, I agree. A few exceptions include President Carter
and Congressman Conyers.

5. ????
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/1559151.stm

Somehow Ashcroft's team "miraculously" recovered passports and identification of these so-called hijackers. How paper is going to survive the front of an aircraft plowing into a building I will never know. Four of these so-called "hijackers" have been found to be alive...that means that the whole story about 19 hijackers is nothing but a lie.

8. Isn't that odd how that is never discussed?
The myth and legend continues to be repeated.

... the exceptional coincidences before, on and after 9/11.

Just as I am not at all confused by the meaning of the constellation of coincidences that characterize Bush and the neoconsters' behavior before, during and since Katrina made land-fall -- in fact, I recently posted a thread at DU on that one, entitled "quod erat demonstrandum: It Was Intentional":

10. i just stood last night at the liberty bell...and my heart was broken
i thought..what liberty???

i saw Cindy Sheehan she was across the street from the Liberty Bell...and one of the speakers said on Monday after sept 24th..there was going to be a peaceful disobediace...and i thought..what would happen if all democratic congress people joined in??
i fear without them ..they will all be arrested..
but if every congress person joined them ..could they all be arrested??

I love to go to Philly, its my favorite place to be..it has always been the heart and soul of this nation to me..and yesterday while walking around philly for the first time in my life..i felt sad...i felt such a deep loss...

until one lady named Cindy stood on a little stage...
and one rabbi spoke and he knew ...he knew the facts..when so few i meet do..including democrats...
And a union man knew the facts...
and one black writer i met ..he knew..ohh he knew...

i took a young lady, new reporter with me..i have been mentoring her with info..and demanding that she never disrespect our constitution and her obligation to it...( she just graduated college and is writing for a little home town paper..her first job out of college, and she is good!)

i will stand with those who stand for truth and our consitution...so when it comes..i will be ready and willing!

thank you UL..you are the best!!

nominated!

11. Thank you UL
I visit DKos regularly and have to admit I occassionally feel slightly overwelmed by some that comment. This however, is something that I feel needs to be made clear to everyone. Just as I respect the things you post UL, there are some that I respect at DKos. I think some have done the homework and I have a tendency to think there is some valuable info there. It will be interesting to see what turns up, I hope there will be some honest reporting about what will hopefully begin the revolution. I must admit, I need more info on Weldon, to this point I don't know enough to make an HONEST judgement. Can he really be that stupid? I also wonder if it might be time to start letting our usual peeps know that we are all watching.
