Okay so Bush is given unlimited power. |
|
He can call a press conference so the nation can witness him sending the army in to gun down all of Congress. He's nuking all the blue states. Then as luck would have it. Bush screws up again bigtime. How much more power can you give him to ensure he doesn't screw up again in the future? Just where is that point Congress will at least consider saying, Your just too stupid to keep this job another second. If you can't work with what you got. Then you need to get out NOW!

1. He had lots of power to use the Army in New Orleans. |
|
Did he use it? NO. Why? Because Rumsfeld was too chicken of the consequences so wouldn't even let it be raised with Bush.

5. Rummy's initial response was they have more than enough troops. |
|
That is his standard reply to everything. If Rummy was wrong on that in NOLA. Think he might also be wrong about that in Iraq? Don't hold your breath waiting for Bush to fire him. Rummy will squeal on him.

2. Mush is like a graphic design wanna be, that spends a shitload |
|
of money on all sorts of high-end software, with incredible learning curves, and when he's finally got his dream system with all sorts of processsing power, and every software package he can imagine, he doesn't know what to do with them.
Some people are better at grabbing power than they are using it. Using it takes imagination, Mush has none.

6. I agree with that. No more old boys network. |

The first thing the new guy does is review the actions of the old guy. If he finds anything wrong. Old guy goes to jail.

the first thing the new guy usually does is thank the old guy for getting them in. Jail is only for those caught by someone not allowed to be part of the club.

4. sure he needs to go NOW, he needed to go THEN... |
|
he should have never been allowed to be installed, he's a bully puppet & that has been his only redeeming quality in the eyes of his handlers. they have known he was just shitty enough a personality type to slap someone else's grandma down & smirk about it.
