I found two good people who had never heard of DU

They have now and hopefully will be joining soon. One a college student in western ny, one a midle aged business owner and activist from the capitol district of ny. both coming to washington on the 24th and hopefully both soon finding friends here.

on a "Hey, I love your stickers" that I tucked under a wind shield wiper. Every little bit helps.:)

6. I lurked for months

and frankly, some of the more.. well, anarchy-angst type posts scared me off a number of times. But I came to honor them as the boundaries of our side of the aisle. Without boundaries we wouldn't be able to see the road ahead of us.

and sometimes conflicting philosophies here and its never ceased to amaze me the civility that usually exists. Most of the time. I admist I've probably been a world class prick to people before in defense of my beliefs but I always try to respect my opponent and it's important that no one goes to bed angry. Good advice for marriage too.;)
