Anybody See Ted Turner On Letterman The Other Night? |

What a cool guy! It's nice to know there's billionaires out there with a good heart and half a brain.

If he left the position to a Repub then Cali would get Repub results. That's a bad thing. It's like when a public service lawyer works for a corporation; it might be the only chance those people have of hearing someone with a conscience.

13. Notice he didn't hang around for very long. |
|
From what Warren's said, there wasn't much advising going on. And the advising that was going on was largely ignored.
Also, as the saying goes, no publicity is bad publicity, so I suspect that Warren saw an opportunity to get a little face time for Berkshire Hathaway and took it.

I was just thinking about what he said:
Today, only uneducated, Third World countries are at war.
What the hell does that tell us?

8. Then why the hell.......... |
|
don't they all get together and form a TV network that will deliver the truth to the American people. I'm talking the FULL truth, if it's harmful to Dems then they'd better get their act together as well. There was a glimmer of hope during the first few days of Katrina when reporters were able to report without the censorship of the studios. Now, things have returned to "normal", the news is being sanitized to protect the Corporate Media's "Golden Goose" in the white house and we're getting shit for news again. I wish Turner would never have sold CNN, it used to be a place where you could find the truth. Now, it's just another propaganda outlet for the bush administration.

Time/Warner does...and they just hired Tom DeLay's Chief Of Staff as their head lobbyist. How's that for balance?
