dispicable senator's priorities are. To save 500 individuals in his state a few bucks, unless im wrong there was hurricane damage in Alabama too.

the more we focus on the hurricane itself, the more the rethugs can come back and say "well, you can't hold us responsible for the weather"

As far as I'm concerned, these are FEMA victims, not hurricane victims.

If we are serious about the preventability of the flooding, if we are serious about the biggest problem being the RESPONSE, not the storm itself, we've got to quit focussing on the "hurricane" or "Katrina" and be relentless about focusing on the RESPONSE and the failure to take preventative measures.

FEMA disaster, not Katrina
