What should be The dominant theme at the Rally ? IMPEACH BUSHCO?
Edited on Sun Sep-18-05 08:42 PM by PuraVidaDreamin
I like IMPEACH the most.

Bush Shames America is right up there

The real terrorists live in the white house
is pretty good.

Don't have much time left for the perfect message.
What do you all think?

2. A sign I've seen that I
like is:

Our soldiers are stationed
in the wrong gulf.

Kind of hits both topics, the mishandling of Iraq and Katrina.

But the impeach meme shouldn't be lost!

5. It's not about BLAME, it's about SHAME.
Shame on You, Bush!

Hurricane Katrina was a natural disaster! FEMA is a national disgrace!

9. In case that wasn't clear: my point is that
I'd like to see less "Katrina" and more "FEMA" -- the dipshit rethug (author of "Peace KIlls") whose name I've already forgotten but who was on Maher makes the RW talking pt clear,

"well you can't blame the weather on **"

(unless of course you believe in global warming, but let's leave that out here)

No, you can't blame him for the weather. But the weather (ie natural disaster) isn't what concerns me as much as the subsequent FEMA disaster.

This is why I think people should try to avoid referring to the problem as "Katrina" and focus relentlessly on FEMA instead.

I've been referring, in all my conversations or written stuff, to the FEMA disaster, never to "Hurricane Katrina" or "Katrina."

It wasn't the "aftermath" either-- it was FEMA (read: Bushco)

7. I like something simple like
"SHAME ON BUSH" You can make very large letters with few words and as a result stand out in the crowd. Good Luck and bless you for participating.

18. Iraq War Based On Lies...
It's an anti war rally isn't it?

Sure we can bitch about anything and everything, but the theme is to STOP the WAR!

19. Stop The War !
We could have used the money wasted over there. We could still have 1900 troops still alive. We could have had the National Guard during the disaster when we needed them. We could have had our respect.
