Cindy Sheehan has "Nobel Cause." What "Noble Cause" did her son Die for? |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-18-05 09:02 PM by KoKo01
I saw Cindy live, in person, here in NC this past week at a Peace Rally. I can tell you that she is REAL and has ONE QUESTION: "What Noble Cause?"
If any of you have the opportunity to see her in person...you will understand what I mean when I say that.
I don't have heros anymore...but Cindy Sheehan has a believability and aura of reality surrounding her that makes even the toughest cynic who sees her, understand...she REALLY WANTS TO KNOW.
"WHAT NOBLE CAUSE" is our presence in Iraq?
She and those who travel with her who are also the most sincere folks I've seen anywhere are worth seeing because THEY are US.
That she travels on...and manages to still sound unspun...and keeps to her initial question in todays media cacophany is really incredible.
I hope all of you who go to DC on the 24th will feel that energy and simplicity of her message. She and those other Gold Star Mothers who will be with her are the TRUE voices of LOSS in America. The folks who know on the ground what so many of us here on DU tried to stop when Bush was determined to Invade Iraq and we here were Determined to STOP HIM. We couldn't do it...and Cindy Sheehan's son died and others died and more will die just like Vietnam...but she asks the question we all asked way back and she keeps that question out there.
She's amazing...and I don't applaud folks easily...

2. She's a mother on a mission! Can't get more focused than that |
|
She is who I'd like to think I would be in the same situation.
I am now a mother who is working furvishly not to be in the same situation. I've got the boys passports. I've gotten them to meet with UU clergy to declare CO independence.
I will go into schools to counter recruit. I will give other mothers the tools and knowledge they need to counter recruit.
It's a mission.

3. BTW...Three Freepers with Signs Protested outside the Park for her |
|
Appearance. The signs they had were:
"GIVE WAR A CHANCE!" and "PROTEST LIBERALS"...I couldn't read the other one... They had some American Flags around them.

Give war a chance....
When my group protested on the rotary Labor Day Cape Cod, the dissenters all were very original with "Get a Job", or "Fuck You"

5. Cindy Sheehan wants more answers to those damn |

Downing Street Memo's and so do I.No doubt our own government has documents/memo's and other incriminating facts that prove the case. The Bush Crime Family allowed 911 in order to "shape public opinion" toward war. They created a new boogie man,Osama bin Laden and a new evil empire which BTW has no root country. It was a bold move 911 it had the desired effect, hell even I supported the idiot son.As the weeks and months passed particularly in Dec.01' Coalition troops reportedly have Osama surrounded inside the mountains of Tora Bora. The Bush Crime Family having extensive relationships with the Bin Ladens must have got a call from Osama, pull back the troops or we'll talk about 911 or we'll unleash the Wahabi's in Saudi Arabia,Osama then escapes into Pakistan and is soon forgotten. I ask,is pulling out 90% of our troops from Afghanistan and sent to Iraq,is that like cutting and running?Didn't catch the alleged leader, left a skeleton crew to pretend to hunt Osama and launched his war based on lies, fixed, forged, faked documents.I applaud Cindy for having the guts to directly put that question to the idiot son. Prior to March 19 2003,I didn't hear Iraqi's crying for help form the West.Despite the oppression of Iraq's people they functioned more freely under Saddam than the US Troops. When I heard that 4 massive military bases are being or may be completed a heartbeat away from the biggest oilfields in Iraq,it becomes evident we there for OIL..Big Oil The cherry on this oil theft is ,"NO MORE SALES IN Euros".All sales now are in the DOLLAR,Phew, said the Crime Family.
My thanks and support for Cindy Sheehan..

6. I think for me finding out that the CIA had EXTENSIVE knowledge of Tora |
|
Bora Caves was a turning point. WE (America operatives) helped Bin Laden build the caves to aid in our defense in the cold war againt communism (Russia)
We Had extensive knowledge of Tora Bora Caves and still Bin Laden escapes? Highly Questionable!

here we are rigorously hunting the alleged killer. We have him surrounded by highly skilled Special Ops just needing the word,"GO" do it,remember bush crowed,"WANTED;DEAD OR ALIVE" There was the golden opportunity to come out of Afghanistan with the head of Osama Bin Laden,no longer a boogie man,he's dead......... But no,the CIA had him BTW a former agent on the hunt wrote a book, the Whitehouse is holding up the release of the agent's book and public speaking events.

8. It depends who and when you asked. |

These days Hitchens seems to be the "reasons" point man. It's all about removing brutal dictatorships from the ME, as long as the dictatorships are "anti US interests".
