OK People, let's fire up Air America for a new Sunday Show... |
|
- start writing, calling and emailing AAR. It's time that the smartest host on AAR got a better timeslot and exposed the rest of the world to wisdom.
Rachael's show is "Air America's Front Page".. well, I WANT A SUNDAY PAPER!
Rachael needs to be on SUNDAY AFTERNOON, in place of the 'Best of Springer' replay, right before Laura Flanders with a two hour 'That Was the Week that Was / This is the Week That Will Be' show to cover the crap that went on all the week, the "Friday Dump" and set up what will be happening during the week. Maybe even a phone call or three.
This is NOT to replace her morning show, this is in addition.
Waddya Think Sirs?

1. As much as I love Rachel's show, she's working two jobs now... |
|
(on Tucker Carlson's show on MSNBC), so I think we should let the poor gal HAVE A WEEKEND!

I get up for work at 4:45am and listen to Rachel at 5:00am Eastern time. Really starts my day!
I would love to hear Rachel on Sunday instead of all the reruns.

3. It could be pre-recorded |
|
like Eco-Talk. But that couldn't use calls....
But yes, the girl has a lot on her plate, with the guest-hosting alongside Laura Flanders....
I think that the weekend is a prime time to issue forth more talent too... we've got a lot of liberal talent that isn't as national as AAR.

4. But she does a news show, so it has to be fresh, and can't be prerecorded. |

very good point and like we've always heard... they pull all the nasty stuff late Friday to avoid public knowledge of their antics.

7. Oh, I would love for Rev. Al to have a show! |
|
I was just thinking that it's not like there aren't a bunch of liberals out there who could do Sunday shows. I'd love for John Edwards to do a show, and I know there are some good people who used to do local radio who lost gigs with the Clear Channelization of radio. But Rev. Al would be fabulous.

8. I would sure be turning in every sunday. |
|
And just think the rw wing fundie freepers might actually learn something about the bible, helping the poor, and loving thy neighbor, because as Rev Al says, "The Christian Right aren't the Right Christians".

10. Bingo! I'd listen to that for sure. |
|
The Rev. on Sunday. Or a show with Jim Wallis or Reverend Forbes of the Riverside Church in NYC.
AAR programmers, heads up!
