Mob Families on NPR's "Fresh Air"....
Author Selwyn Raab is talking about his new book "The 5 Families" and it is a-m-a-z-i-n-g how similar La Cosa Nostra sounds to the BFEE....

1. La Cosa Nostra was started in Italy(or Sicily) because of BFEE leaders

LCN goes way way back in time. Which Bushevik helped start it & why?

I will also need to see some links to back this up. I reserve the right to see the evidence and judge for myself.

Just because the Busheviks operate like LCN doesn't necessarily mean they invented it.

Just that they learned from it, as they learned from Hitler & Stalin on Perception management and self-reinforcing propaganda.

5. LCN was started because the Italian government was corrupt
Because the government couldn't be trusted the LCN was started so that some type of rule and security could be implemented.

3. Interesting: Chertoff was the prosecutor
in the first big RICO case against the mob in New York, according to the author. Hmm.

4. something is strange about this report: no word on RFK
just Guiliani and Chertoff....

There were major initiatives against the mob in the 70's... before these guys got in on the act.

6. Guiliani went after the mob in a big way
Many Italians can't stand him because he went against his own kind in order to make a name for himself.
