An immigration memo intended for embattled White House advisor Karl Rove arrived instead on the fax machine of a Democratic congressman, RAW STORY can reveal.

The congressman who received the fax opted not to comment, and asked that his name not be used.

The focus of Smith's memo, addressed to "Hon. Karl Rove," is on immigration politics.

"Immigration needs to be considered in the context of: (1). Media Bias, (2). Animosity toward the president and (3) the feelings of the Republican base," Smith's memo states.

6. Even if this is true this isn't going to hurt any republican.

Everyone knows that the R's feign media bias.

A party in control of the executive doesn't want to embarrass the pres.

Of course the base of the R-party will get some consideration.

If there is a story it could well be that a democratic congressman's office released to the public a document that was clearly faxed to an incorrect number. Most coversheets beg recipients to protect privacy of wrongly faxed items.

It stinks if it has Rove's name on any of this. I would have forwarded it to him, let him know it was a plant...

Hey Karl, I think a fax has mistakenly sent to us, do you want me to read it to you..." Pretend to fax it to him and send it to the Washington Post, by accident..... of course.
