And not to be a wet blanket (ha ha) but you guys know it won't be anything close to a hurricane at that point, right?
Crawford will be lucky if they get some rain out of it, that far inland.

Ya know?
Why God told me just last night that the entire bush family makes baby Jesus cry. Daily.
What nasty people to make the baby Jesus cry!

22. But hey I figure they've been getting away with it for years. |
|
And people around where I live say God talks to them all the time, so what the heck (down here it is far less likely to land you in the nut house).
God told me neoconservatives are particularly evil little sinners and will be punished for their crimes.
God told me DeLay has a serious gastrointestinal problem because of all his sinnin'.
God told me he still loves bush voters, just like he loves all his children, but he's sure disappointed with them right about now.
And that baby Jesus, he's still crying.
RAMEN!
Oh also, God told me everything Robertson, Falwell and their ilk say HE told them was actually told to them by a DEMON.
So there.
See, it's fun!

what I fear is that because Global Warming is a fantasy... (so they tell us at EPA and other Gov'ment agencies) we will see another Cat 4, if not an outright CAT 5 before this season is over... my lord what will we do as a nation for three or four of this and forget about the economy... and the casualties will be hard to take too

|
That isn't out of the realm of possibility, scarily enough.
This one could be one of them. Then a big 'un could hit the east coast, maybe coastal Virginia.
:scared:
Shit, the federal government can't even handle one big hurricane.
We have more than two months before hurricane season is over.

Because, as you well know, the hurricane force winds would cause the brush to just sprout up at ten times its normal speed.

I have water and food already and good camp gear. I can pick up more batteries tomorrow. The gas tanks are full. I still have some options for going south instead of north.

After all, that General Store at the (one) intersection in Crawford, the one that sells all the George and Laura souvenirs, has a monument to the Ten Commandments the size of a Hummer sitting out front.
I just hope the Crawford Peace House will be okay -- that place will be a historical site someday!

52. Just remember, folks, the Crawford Peace House and Camp Casey |
|
The Crawford Peace House and Camp Casey will be historical markers to justice and freedom long after the current owners of the pig farm have left for a mansion in Dallas.
That's how I will always remember Crawford, and all the joking about Crawford being blown away by Rita doesn't sit well with me.
