A Suggestion for the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee
To Joe Lieberman and the other Democrats on the Senate Governmental Affairs Committe.

They should take the lead in drafting legislation that would make it a REQUIREMENT that nominee for FEMA Chief have at least 5 years experience in emergency management---successfully managing and responding to manmade and natural disasters.

The Committee should also ensure that the nominee's resume is acurate and verifiable.
