Poll question: FEMA Ready for Rita?
Rita is gearing up - taking aim for somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico.

It's been on the news and other media. Does Fema know about it? Does Homeland Security know about it? Does bush* know about it?

The big question: IS FEMA READY FOR RITA?

1. It depends on where it hits
If the Hurricane should hit Galveston and move into Huston, they will be right there with all the assistance they can pull together with the exception of the Astrodome area.

4. Use Houstonians Have the Answer!

Rita is really forming up a hurricane eye the last hour. Galveston/Houston projected for a direct hit this Saturday.

But no worries. Motley Crue is playing at the Toyota Center Saturday night in Houston where we can all seek shelter before the big hurricane, like the New Orleans citizens did in the Superdome for Hurricane Katrina.

Motley Crue may have to play an acoustic set with flashlights and no A/C, but what the hell. They can sing some of their best songs for us hurricane Rita shelter victims while we wait 5 days for any form of help, hydration, and nutrition. Such Crue classics as:

1. Toilets Overflowing in the Boys Room.
2. Same 'Ol Situation
3. Afraid,
4. Shout At The (BushCo) Devil, and their new hit single
5. "If I Die Tomorrow"

9. I selected "Huh? Rita? Who? Where? What?" because I have not seen
...or heard any FEMA spokes person come forward to discuss their intended plan/actions concerning Rita on any news channel. If they were even remotely ready there would be FEMA PR people as a minimum coming out to instill public confidence. So far, nothing! Rita is 133 miles from Key West and 136 miles from Miami as I writ this. Yet, no FEMA visibility at this point. This is like FEMA poking America in the eye with a stick.

10. Mike Brown handled things in Florida quite well last year
during other hurricanes. Jeb Bush will always get what he needs for that and Texas will get what it needs immediately. But the people in the Gulf were, for the most part, black and poor and they were left to die by this administration. There is NO other way to look at it.
