Are there any good radio stations or shows out there for Democrats?
I'm looking for one that talks about Democratic values. I'm looking for one that discusses the plans put forth by our Democratic leaders. I'm looking for one that will get the Democratic message out to the rest of the world.

Does any exist?

1. you mean not including Air America Radio?
Edited on Tue Sep-20-05 08:24 AM by HamdenRice
It's pretty much a mouthpiece for the "democratic wing of the democratic party." It is constantly discussed here at DU -- surprised you haven't heard of it.

More to the left is the excellent Pacifica Radio network, which includes the morning news show Democracy Now, which you can get over the internet.

Might take a look at NYC's WBAI website at WBAI.org for links.

6. check DU Lobby
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/

I automatically go to Air America, but if I want something else, I go to the lobby and it gives me several choices....third row from the top. They are updated hourly, so you have the actual options for the that hours laid out for you....

9. BradShow does it all
The Brad Radio Show, www.bradshow.com, does it all, and it was the only show that broadcasted live everyday from Camp Casey while Cindy Sheehan was there. There are hundreds of great interviews archived on the site for you to listen to for the whole month.

11. Air America is just as bad as DU...
Almost every post on this site is meant to bash Bush... just like all of the commentary on Air America.

12. There's also Democracy Now! on Pacifica Radio
If Randi Rhodes turns you off, Amy Goodman might be more to your liking.
