Jeb: Retired Msgt, US Army

Neil: Sensitivity Trainer

13. Pure Conjecture...

GWB: replaces a boy from east Texas with infantry unit in Vietnam, barely survives mortar attack while crouching in a ditch and eating Vienna sausages. Returns to US and is pronounced healthy but mumbles and wanders all day.

Boy he replaced: goes on to have 5 kids and own his own drug store.

Laura: Gets PhD in Aesthetics, teaches Lit at Texas Tech, and never wears a bra.

Babs -- social climbing wife with secret pill popping addiction; reason why Poppy embezzled money in the first place
Jeb -- pastor and president of local anti-choice group; had to leave town after it was discovered that he paid for his mistress to abort secret love child

chimp - doing time for vehicular manslaughter - killed somebody while DUI

Pickles - Divorced GWB years ago after he came home shitfaced once too often. Now on husband number three, a trailer park owner in Waco. She was tried as a juvenile for running a stop sign and killing a classmate, found guilty, and did a year in a juvenile detention facility. Spends her days alternately smoking and sleeping.

Jenna - Currently on probation for solicitation. Judge ordered her to seek gainful employment. Works part-time as a scheduler at a beauty salon.

Barbara - Cocktail waitress at a bowling alley near Crawford.

Poppy - Retired manager of a chevy dealership in Houston. Retired early after siphoning off thousands in profits into his personal bank account. Owns the bowling alley where Barbara works.

Babs - Works behind the counter at the bowling alley assigning lanes and disinfecting shoes. Feared by everybody for her nasty disposition. Known locally as "that ugly, scary old bat."

Jeb and his entire family - on the lam in South America after a series of gas station robberies in Florida.
