Utility trucks are headed south. Do you think it has anything to do with connections?

2. He does seem to be grandstanding a bit
Relax Jeb, the Keys knows how to do hurricanes. We're not dealing with millions of people.

7. He seems to be grandstanding a lot
He declared a state of emergency while Rita was a tropical storm. The path of the storm is projected for Texas, which seems like a long way from Florida. It seems irresponsible to me; sort of like crying wolf. Telling people there is an emergency when there isn't one leads to complacency.

I don't believe he received any information that would justify a declaration of a state of emergency. I wonder if this is supposed to "show people how its really done" or something like that.

Maybe he's just freaking out.

3. Well...that plus lessons learned
from a couple of weeks ago. They quite simply cannot have anything resembling the previous weeks' screw ups. Otherwise, bush's poll numbers will be in negative numbers.

4. Ya think?
And he has to tell people not to use their generators inside their houses ... those would be the generators that people got from FEMA last year and never used. :eyes:
