Imagine Kerry In The White House, Today |
|
Gee, ya think that FEMA might have been on the scene sooner?
Certainly we would have never heard the "Good job, brownie" quote from the asshole now in command.
What a difference our president, John Kerry, would be, eh?

1. The Iraq clusterfuck prolly wouldn't be much different |
|
But I'm convinced he would have appointed people to FEMA who were qualified and weren't neo-con horse hacks.

do their job exactly as they needed to do, which would have resulted in NO military action.

11. It would be completely different |
|
Kerry would have brought the rest of the world to the table. He would have allowed more training. He would have made it crystal clear that we were planning to leave. He would have empowered the NGO's and Iraqi businesses. He would have changed the military plan so that our troops weren't targets on the frontlines. He would have led us out of there instead of into a situation that becomes more dangerous by the day.

This is the truth that should be obvious to all. Even if you don't agree with Kerry on Iraq, if you have any discerning sense at all, you have to be able to see that.

12. Both were keenly aware of the vulnerability of the gulf coasts....Kerry |
|
even talked about the immediate needs of the coast in a number of campaign speeches in Louisiana in April and June of 2004.
It required a 14 billion dollar investment to reinforce the coasts and the ports.
Those damn bigspending Democrats and their "plans" for this nation, eh?

How many more will there be? The ramifications of these two stolen elections could go on exponentially for a generation to come. :(

16. "...a generation to come". indeed |
|
Oh yes, it will. It is an infectious disease in the American body which has caused insanity to take hold. If we don't kill the vote stealing, NOW, it will be the death of this great experiment. Even so, the harm it has created will last a long, long time.

7. I thought he wants more troops in Iraq? |
|
I hope I remember wrong because that would mean FEWER National Guard assets to deploy in the hurricane striken areas.
I am not at all sure he would have had a chance to undo the damage to FEMA, although I am sure he would have wanted that.

13. Or maybe he would have gotten the National Guard out of Iraq |
|
and used more intelligent military planning to manage the troops. Intelligent. Planning. Two words not in the * lexicon.

Kerry wanted more regular troops so that the National Guard could come home. Lets not rehash the IWR. It was pure politics and it gained him plenty of votes from the warmongers. Of course, those warmongers would be spitting bullets today were Kerry rightfully in the WH.
Two: Kerry would have never appointed anyone like the twerp brownie to something as important as FEMA. And you can bet we would have seen many heads roll at FEMA if they screwed up like they did working for Kerry.

20. Let's not rehash IWR? Should I get on with life, or WHAT? |
|
Kerry, as late as this summer supported MORE involvement in Iraq.
It is an issue.
I understand the calculus of putting more troops in. I disagree with it.
While I am open to try to understand Kerry's position for voting for IWR, I am damned sure not going to overlook or sweep aside the historic record.
