Anderson Cooper sounds like he has some respiratory problems
He was just doing an update on Larry King and he is wheezing quite a bit between sentences.

He has been reporting from a toxic waste site for three weeks now. I hope he is taking care of his health.

He is a damn good news man.

3. I think Anderson is great,
and I think he's just exhausted in addition to everything else.

Interesting how Dan Rather has just sorta taken the reins from Larry King and is asking Anderson and Rob Marciano all the questions!

4. I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Half the people I know are coughing
and wheezing from fall allergies right now, including myself.

Havind said that, I do hope that he take care of himself and has access to a doctor in NO. He's been terrific the last few weeks.

12. Miles O'Brien also "has" something.....He was in NOLA for a while...
He was apologizing for it this AM and his cohorts were commenting on how sick he sounded. I sure hope these guys haven't picked up something evil from the flood.

13. Is Solodad the wife of Miles O'Brian?

If so, who did they know to both get such fancy jobs?

The Chimp?

7. I've heard him do that a couple weeks ago
Not sure what the cause is, but I heard him do that on Larry King when he first started reporting from NOLA.

8. I agree, he doesn't sound like usual.
I heard him say a few days ago(?) that he is taking regular doses of antibiotic and other stuff. I don't think he is without medical supervision.

9. I thought that he appeared as though he may be ill on Monday evening.
His color wasn't right, ashen..but it may have just been the picture. Hope he's ok.

10. He's telling the truth... perhaps they 'anthraxed' him..
The first Anthrax victim was the guy that published the Bush twins escapades....

Just Kidding - he likely just has a previously unknown illness due to the toxic NO environment.

Hope I'm kidding about that too....

15. I've heard it in his voice as well. He's undoubtedly exhausted.
Don't know if he's a smoker as well. But reporting from that toxic waste dump can't be healthy for anyone. I hope he takes care. He's been about the only real voice the media has had in all of this.

17. I've heard the same stridor many different times from Anderson, long
before Katrina. He hyperventilates, talks too fast, and runs out of breath. It's nothing new. Get him excited about anything, and listen for it.
