Do you want better government or not ?? |
|
Or do you believe government is evil? Do you believe government is a hindrance to free enterprise and keeps poor people poor? Do you really want to drown government in a bathtub? Do you believe government is just a means to take your money in the form of taxes? Do you believe the only function of government is the national defense? Do you believe government favors Democrats?

Our political system is so corrupt right now, that it probably wont ever be turned around, unless there's a revolution..
People are happy going to the malls and going to the movies to zone out, or doing drugs.. whatever method they choose to numb the pain of the horrible situation we have here in America.
The corporations own our politicians, so they vote for the corporations, and they stay in power year after year, and are never held accountable for their actions. It's going to take something really bad to happen to shake people up, and get involved in politics. We NEED to vote out all these carreer criminal politicians!

One wants government to be capable in those spheres where government is supposed to be powerful. I don't favor a managed economy, but I certainly favor a regulated economy. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

5. Yes. I'd gotten used to the idea of cleaner air, cleaner water, |

public schools, job safety, wage protection, wildlife protection, wilderness protection, good roads, health care for those who couldn't afford it, and the social security safety net, to name a few. While it wasn't perfect, and although it seemed that things were progressing slowly, at least there was a chance. I wish that Dem. leadership would vividly describe the third world conditions under which we'll live without the federal government social programs and protections. I hope they spell it out soon.
