how to reform the Democratic Party
I think we all realize that the Democratic Party needs some changing. Too many of them are spineless wimps, afraid to speak out against the war, complacent about election fraud, ready to vote for Roberts... I've just about had it with them.

I continue to get mail from them, soliciting donations. I always send it back with a letter and no check. I say I will not contribute anymore, until they show some leadership on election reform, and speak for their constituency on the war - (most americans, not just democrats, are against the war. why aren't our representatives against it?).

I get so many solicitations from them, I have a letter saved on my computer now and I just print another copy everytime, sometimes making a few changes.

I think hitting them in the pocketbook may be the only way to get these turkeys to wake up. If everyone stops contributing, or makes their contributions contingent on specific changes, maybe they'll listen. Right now, they seem to not be listening at all.

2. that's what many of us would like to know
they are either incredibly niave, stupid, complacent, or they are involved in the problem. one thing we know, they are not eager to fix it and they need us to poke them in the ass.
