Is there any one out there with the capability of |
|
posting a picture of Katrina 2-3 days short of landfall and one of Rita side by side?
I have been looking for a picture of Katrina 3 days out but can't find it. A satellite picture, the ones that show white clouds, not the colorful ones.

2. This website is pretty good |
|
It doesn't show the actual photos but you can see the previous tracks. Kind of scary. Click on the storm you want to see and it shows the track, wind speed, etc http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7845030/AValdoux

4. I don't have any pictures, but |
|
I just heard from a friend of mine who lives in Marathon, in the middle of the Keys, and he said that Rita made Katrina look like a walk in the park. He said it's going to be disastrous when it hits land.
He's not a man given to exaggeration, and he's never evacuated for a hurricane in all the time I've known him, so this statement of his really startled me.

8. I know where you are heading... |
|
...but chicken entrails work as well...the best piece I've read on chaos theory explains the problem of weather prediction well..Picture the machine made to strech salt water taffy-a pair of offfset forks that aerate and blend the candy....now stick two raisins in a spot direcctly adjacent to each other-they start fractions of an inch apart, yet in minutes they diverge greatly. That is both hurricaine prediction and Ray Bradbury"s "Butterfly Affect"...Just Sayin'....
