Horrible Thought: Lowball Katrina Death Toll & Include It In Rita Deaths |

I wouldn't put it past them: keep the Katrina toll as low as possible, then release some of those deaths as having happened during Rita. The RWNM talking point will then be, "see, even with a huge heads up, great evacuations and the entire mechanism of government going full steam, a lot of people still died...so quit blaming * for the Katrina deaths...they would have died anyway."
I'm only saying this because a few weeks ago I read about hospitals with like 800 dead in them. Have those bodies been counted? I don't think so.
Tell me I'm wrong.
