I would be able to appreciate it's beauty. We really shouldn't screw around with nature.

5. Dare I say...
It's gorgeous! I wish these things would stay out in the ocean where we could just appreciate their beauty and not have to fear their power to destroy.

7. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ......
If I were in the path of that thing .... I could only see it as a MONSTER about right now. Maybe later it's aesthetic beauty would be more appreciated, but not now. Thanks for that pic, the first one, mesmerizing even so. Peace.

10. But I see the assh**e of Bush and proclaim that God is sending his
storm into the heart of Texas because of the sins of this man! Just help me make up a name for my new 'church' and I can make headlines like the so-called church that saw a fetus in Katrina!

12. Here's One That Lets You Compare Storms
http://www.ktrh.com/main.html

It's below the current temps...the "Interactive" map. Shows you all the storms this year and their tracks. Looking at Rita and Katrina, you can see they have a lot in common...

My hopes and more for those who are in the path of this storm to stay high, dry and sane.

22. It STILL looks to me like it's headed for Louisiana.
I know the weather folks know more about the direction of it, because of temperature of ocean currents, etc., but it sure seems like it keeps wanting to head back to Louisiana.
