Gas prices have just doubled!!! |
|
In Windsor, Ontario...gas prices have jumped from around $1 a litre ($4 per gallon in Canadian dollars) to $1.99. I'm in London, so there's a mass gastank filling all over the city (2 hours northeast of Windsor). I got it for $0.959 a litre, but tmw it will jump to $1.85.

This isn't a bad joke, right? I take it this is reaction to Hurricane Rita? I wonder what my local stations will be selling for tomorrow. I just filled up tonight and it was $2.7* somethin'.

6. Whatever TV news my daughter was watching |
|
was showing the oil rigs and refineries in the way of RITA. They are bound to sustain damage and that will mean higher gas price rather it needs to be higher or not.

7. who is calling for FTC investigation? |
|
i heard a bit today on AAR or Jones Radio Net, saying that for prices to be at the current level (today's) oil prices would have to be $90/barrel. Now it's going up?
no doubt, gouging.

9. Strangely, it has jumped in Ontario, but not in Western Canada |
|
Does that mean that Ontario relies more on oil and gas imports from the Gulf States than the western parts of Canada?
