God is punishing us over Iraq, both Katrina and Rita shake up oil industry
Call me crazy but I believe in a God and that power above acts in mysterious ways, I do not believe two major hurricanes headed for oil areas in the same year after the war in Iraq is a mere coincidence.

Flame away!

PS No, I believe the tsunami was a natural disaster

1. That's the same bullshit
That's the same bullshit that the radical islamicists use to justify the 9/11 attacks, god works in mysterious ways. There is no god out there who is punishing anybody for anything, just men punishing each other out of hatred and ignorance.

3. "God is punishing New Orleans for homosexuals" said the
reich wingers.

Now you are blaming God for this one for your own reasons.

Poor God. Leave her out of this.

12. Uuummmm....
...and yet the millions of people who either

a) didn't vote for Shrub and/or
b) aren't members of radical religious groups

are what? Collateral damage?

Sorry, the Gods may work in mysterious ways, but they keep it up close and personal.

You Terrans are so vain. Everybody blames me whenever anything goes wrong. You Terrans need to start taking responsibility for your own doings. I have a strict rule *not* to interfere. Now leave me alone and let me get back to my cocktail. "BARTENDER! I'll take another now, please! Better make it a double this time."

How Godless we are?....Who in there right mind would make such a post? If however you are just not thinking straight tonight; sit down and do a little research on the net and educate yourself about global warming and read the New testament about a God of love.

23. Gulf of Mexico.
Water's 4 degrees hotter than ever recorded before; makes it 90 degrees and perfect for upgrading badass tropical storms into fullblown motherfuckin' hurricanes.

God, as per usual, has nothing to do with this and politely steps out of the way as Science passes and offers him a deferential nod.

25. Bastardi
Joe Bastardi from Accuweather on Faux News, was saying that the sea surface temperatures have nothing to do with it and its all just a cyclical pattern. Apparently, Fox was able to find a conservative to bias even the weather reports, it figures.
