Once again Mike Malloy is threatening to destroy the Democratic
Party... At least that's what the msm and "dlc" would have us believe.

This is the intro on his Air America web site intro for his show.

Event after event - either natural or as the result of useless and ultimately destructive Republican policies forced onto Americans by the Bush Crime Family - is demonstrating the utter inability of this corrupt administration to govern. Early reports say this latest hurricane will result in the price of gas rising to as much as $5.00 per gallon, which, in turn, will further increase the obscene profits of the oil companies who share ownership of this administration. (The other co-owners include the commercial drug industry, the health insurance industry, the chemical industry, the coal industry and any other predatory, rapacious enterprise that has zero interest in anything other than financial gain and market dominance.) ... these Republicans attempts to replace democracy with corporatism - a form of fascism favored nearly ninety years ago by Benito Mussolini.

I love Mike.

1. confusing topics
Democracy is a political ideal. Corporatism is an economic ideal. Socialism isn't a political ideal it's economic. The Soviets had an Oligarchy for a political system, Cuba has a dictator as a political system but they both had Socialism as the economic syetem. Hong Kong is Communist politically but corporatist in economics.

2. And the epitome of this is the new Martha Stewart show.
I mean, really, the woman gets out of prison looking better than ever, and laughing all the way to the bank as she hosts another hit show. Her guests include the likes of Donald Trump and his live-in lover, in her kitchen, making MEAT LOAF.

I mean, really. Doesn't this just about say it all?
