Do you want to investigate "Able Danger"?
Even if, the Clinton Adminsitration is guilty of covering up the Mohammad Atta story before 9/11 ever happened? If it reflects poorly, very poorly on the Democrats, do you still want to know? Do you still want to investigate? Should partisan politics be put aside and let the investigators get to the bottom of this? Or do you think it is a setup to hang the Clinton Administration?

2. It doesn't matter. We already know that the FBI were not looking for
people to take over planes with box cutters. And they were not expected to be suicided.

We also know that Bush was more interested in iraq. And that Clinton handed off a battle plan to Afghanistan because they had just prooved that the USS Cole was done by Al Qaeda.

Does't matter.

We knew some of those people were on a 'watch' list.

3. Whatever...bush administration is hung because of the PBR
A month before 9/11 it said OBL was determined to attack the US. The Twin Towers were a target and they were looking at hijacking airplanes.

How much more of a warning does anyone need?

5. No problemo.
It appears the Pentagon stuffed the stovepipe. I think the truth is going to find that there were some neo-cons running their own agenda in the Pentagon....let's not frget that Reagan/Bush/Cheney/Rumsfield were well represented inside the government during Clinton's tenure. PNAC (led by Rummy) were already articulating the plans for the ME and that a New Pearl Harbor would be needed. I suspect that 9/11 was a long time in the making and uncovering one of the star players would not have been in the interests of the neo-cons who were not yet ina position to put the plan into action.

9. Truth trumps all. Let the chips fall where they may. I'd rather
know if Clinton knew before 2008, if you know what I mean.

13. There is no doubt in my mind that Bill Clinton
was not told of this. Bill Clinton was intensely interested in keeping this country safe not only for moral and ethical reasons but also because of political reasons. Republicans would have unleashed all of the media they control on him had he behaved the way Bush did on 9/11. Clinton would have been forced to resign.

7. Of course
I'm not a republican and can handle if Clinton screwed up. As long as I get the facts without spin.

No one should ever have to decide to either burn to death or jump out off a 100 floor window.

the aftermath's of Katrina and Rita first. Normally, I'd say the two, recovery and investigation, are not mutually exclusive but politicians have proven that they can only concentrate on one thing at a time and our country is facing catastrophe on an historical scale. Sure President Clinton could have, and should have, done more against OBL in the 90's; however, he was NOT President on September 11, 2001.

FREEPERS, you do know that Clinton wasn't President on 9/11, don't you? You do know that Iraq was not behind 9/11, don't you? You do know that Hussein was a secular dictator and not an Islamicist, don't you? You do know that the greatest expansions of Federal power and spending (read deficits) have occurred under Republican administrations, don't you? If so, why the HELL are you still FREEPERS?

10. But it's not damning to Clinton
Clinton never even heard about Able Danger. True, it could point fingers at some people in office during his term, especially in the military, but that's different.

11. Democrats are the Truth Party, Republicans are the Power Party
I'm for truth. The Democrats should pay a little more attention to power, but you don't have to ignore truth to do that. Truth triumphs in the end, but sometimes it takes a while.

Find the truth and let the chips fall where the may. The country will be stronger for the truth.

12. Malloy talked about this tonight
and how certain powers in the Pentagon
kept this information from going up the
chain.

I would certainly like to know more about
this...
