Monitor a small MB which is not inherently political, but 90% liberal.

Posed a serious question this week in a completely non-inflammatory way: "This is a serious question for the conservative members: Why Do You Support President Bush?" I said in my OP that I would NOT argue, condemn, ridicule, etc. That I merely wanted to be enlightened.

I could have titled the thread "Hey, a$$holes, why are you STILL supporting this moron?" But I took the high road.

As you might expect, the Repugs had nothing to say, but I was tarred and feathered by my fellow liberals! "How dare you DEMAND they answer." "You may say you're sincere, but you're just piling on, inciting a fight, etc."

I think I got my answer. The Repug members cannot possibly defend their loyalty to * any longer. Their last refuge is to say crap like, "Ask the other 53,000,000 who voted for him," etc. etc. I'm thinking that 43,000,000 or more wish they could have that vote back.

And I'm thinking how lucky I am to be a part of this community, all of whose members knew * would be the Worst. President. Ever. as far back as 1999. Misery loves company, and we've got the misery in spades, but we've got each other. Thanks to all.
