Religions says be scared of Satan. Bush says be scared of Terrorists
Edited on Thu Sep-22-05 11:42 AM by NNN0LHI
I am beginning to think there is a connection here. Got to have some evil force to keep the weak minded followers in line. Wonder if Rove thought of this?

When Bush gives a speech replace the word terrorist with satan and you have a televangelist. As you listen to Bush think Jim Jones.

Whatever happened to presidents who used to say "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself"?

1. You got it right. Thing is, * and satan are on the same side, and
the fundies don't recognize that. At least the parishioners don't.

2. When FDR said that we were facing enemies who had a combined
20+ million men under arms.

When * said 'Terra, terra, fear fear!' we faced an enemy that had app. 5000 men under arms.

Obviously, * has a vested interest in fearmongering.

3. Actually, Esoteric Religion Says View Satan As Your Instructor Primarily
and secondarily as your comic relief.

But that's if you take the time to really learn what Religion is saying and get beyond what the rabble rousing profiteers WANT you to think.

4. Most people don't get past the Fire And Brimstone part of the message
Just like they never get past the first paragraph or two in a newspaper article. Americans have allowed themselves to be programmed to have an attention span no longer than the time it takes to get from one commercial to the next. About ten minutes. I think we can all agree on that?
