"The only way the terrorists can win is if we lose our nerve and abandon" |
|
http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/mld/myrtlebeachonline/news/politics/12713955.htmBush says U.S. must not retreat on Iraq "The terrorists concluded we lacked the courage and character to defend ourselves," the president said. "The only way the terrorists can win is if we lose our nerve and abandon the mission. "For the safety and security of the American people, that's not going to happen on my watch," he said.

1. Remember next year that he said this |
|
When the panicky republican congressional candidates put the screws on the people who are really running things and they decide its time to get the fuck out of Iraq or face extinction as a party. I don't give a shit about what he says is or isn't gonna happen "on his watch" you don't need a crystal ball to see whats coming. This tough guy bullshit is becoming a joke.

2. How can you have a war against a tactic? |
|
The so-called "war on terror" is a fight against anyone and no one. Very dishonest label, and more or less a blank check to attack the whole world.
The invasion of Iraq had nothing to do with defending ourselves. They posed no threat to us then.
How can we abandon the mission? What exactly is the mission?
On Dubya's watch, nothing has so far happened to enhance the safety and security of the American people.

But this global war on terrer is specifically designed to support the neocons' PNAC dreams. Or maybe it's more appropriate to call them nightmares.
Peace! It's groovy, and still a good idea.

4. On his watch? What the hell is he watching? Obviously not much or else |
|
he would notice that we're losing.
I don't know how this obtuse bastard ever got to be anything, governor, faux pResident, anything. He is stupid beyond words, and is the dictionary's example for the word corrupt.

6. Maybe because he's good at "Catapulting the Propaganda"? |
|
Ok. He "was" good at it for the "easily fooled" ones... for a while.
Now since the day he admitted catapulting the propaganda was "part of the job" (what he's been told by Rove and wasn't supposed to say in public?), and also since he admitted the illegal invasion wasn't because Iraq posed a threat to the existence of the U.S. but really "to protect the oil" (other words for "to steal it away"), maybe he's a lot less good at it...
Many more now can see through him and his propaganda catapult.
Come on, Fitz!! :bounce:
