1. Seems like the country has been taken over....

...by 10 year old boys who want to play dress-up spy or something.

Sheesh.

18. No, 10-year-old boys would have more sense.
This is more like 9-year-old Republicans.

9. Thise coming weekend would be a great time to experiment with
"...unique rules of engagement regarding the use of lethal force, the use of experimental non-lethal weapons, and federal and military control of incident locations that are highly controversial and might border on the illegal."

Between this and Rita, I may not be able to breathe easy all weekend.

my wife's already in DC, planning for Saturday. So our family will get a two-fer.

12. Oh yes he would.
The criminal cabal in power, led by Cheney and Rummy has no qualms whatsoever about killing unarmed citizens in the streets. They have faith in their ability to make sure it's never reported in the corporate media. The sheeple would cheer in any case.

3. No one seems to grasp the difference between these guys
and undercover police. Seal Team 6 is an elite counter terror group whose personnel resemble anything but soldiers! They operate in civilian clothes.

22. I am sitting at my desk 2 blocks from the rally site.
I am so pumped! This morning, on the way in, I saw that Veterans for Peace have planted thousands of crosses on a huge patch of grass right near the Washington Monument. Beautiful and sad.

commandos are not in the streets but in special rooms and computer simuilators, and yes they are probably quite POed that somebody wrote about this....

These exercises go on and have gone on regularlly for the last fifty years. Yet the author is correct, we should know a little more about them, hell they have a biweekly exercise drawn from the headlines, where the top leaders of industry are asked to participate...

14. Bring lots of cameras, fresh batteries, memory cards, camera phones.
Download / upload frequently.

When a memory card gets full, give to a friend who doesn't have a camera.

Have prestamped envelopes for film to mail to yourself or a stay at home friend so you can shoot and drop off so you wont' lose images.

We don't want a shooting war! If we believe in non-violence we must practice it. I have seen enough death to last me a lifetime & I hope you will spare yourself from the same. Please?

36. We've got to fight SMERSH
We've got to track them down to their underwater lair in Corsica or The Bahamas and foil their evil plan to shoot down all of our rockets.

But first.... we need some spies and a secret code name.
