Flipped on Bloomberg financial network to get the stock market reports, financial news, etc. There is one of the Repukes (don't know him)who is pontificating that prior to Katrina and Rita we had a "financial hurricane 5" heading for us that will be even worse than any Rita or Katrina. He is saying that in light of all this now, we have to start biting the bullet and get rid of Social Security and Medicare...it's just the 'right thing to do'. No mention, of it being time to stop lining the pockets of the goddamn rich with our tax money. No mention that maybe it's goddamn time these rich bastards start paying for SOMETHING and stop dumping it off on the middle class whose wages and benefits they keep cutting or sending their jobs overseas. No mention of it being time to stop waging goddamn wars based on in-your-face lies to line Haliburton's pocket, etc. Nooooooooo, it's time to kiss anyone over 65 goodbye and pull the plug for Amureka!! This country isn't worth a steaming pile of shit any longer..it really isn't. Unbelievable how fast these vultures can spin even a natural disaster into "their" evil, anti-American-people agenda!!!
