Take it from a certified empath, this guy now KNOWS he's in trouble. It's in his eyes.

18. I turned on the TV at breakfast, and there he was on the live feed |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-22-05 04:28 PM by Lisa
I've always been skeptical of good-looking people because I myself am no oil painting ... so I tend to view excessive criticism of the haggard, wrinkly, pudgy, etc., as being shallow and mean-spirited. I sympathize, 'cause it could well be me.
But even so, I kind of lost my appetite around then. (And I have a pretty strong stomach!)
It looked like every bruise he's sustained during his time in office -- plus a few more -- came back with a vengeance. His eyes looked bleary and washed-out, and his hair appears to be falling out. I generally don't wear makeup ... but if I had some, I would have urged it upon him.

Anything! I'm now scared to eat when I'm watching TV, in case he pops up unexpectedly, looking like that.

We keep a black Sharpie near the front door. Whoever brings in the morning paper has the obligation to blacken our - or simply deface - any images of any of those Illegal Squatters In The White House before anyone else has to be exposed to it.
That's my idea of "Homeland Security."

32. great idea. The Globe and Mail sometimes prints close-ups of Bush |
|
Really big close-ups that take up half the page -- which show everything (skin pores, whiskers he's missed while shaving, etc.) Even Laura wouldn't get an eyeful like that, unless she had a magnifying glass with her, first thing in the morning. This is without warning, several pages into the paper. That's why I had to give up reading it during meals.

That said, all bets are off where these assholes are concerned. I'll make fun of anything about them, including diseases, tragedies, bad taste in shoes, anything.
They're special.
He is definitely looking worse and worse, day by day.
Oh, and he is wearing makeup. They all are. They always do, when there are lights and cameras.

15. Alcohol is no excuse for poor performance |
|
Winston Churchhill said you could float a small battleship in the amount of Cognac that he drank during his lifetime. Ulysses S. Grant functioned well as a general even when he was drinking heavily. Bush may very well have a drinking problem but I hope it doesn't come down to his sudden revelation of that in order to try to argue that he isn't responsible for his actions. Alcohol may very well explain Bush's frequent erratic behavior and strange utterances and slurred words like "peeance freeance". But unless alcohol has caused some type of dementia in his brain, he can't blame his terrible decision-making on drinking alone. If the National Enquirer article is true and that close family members have leaked this story to the media, it makes me think that perhaps some play for sympathy will be in the works, especially if things in Iraq and at home get further screwed up.

|
The body english was loud and clear. I think they are realizing just how much shit they are in. Everyone knows you can spin only so long, that sooner or later the chickens come home to roost. They know that and thought they were way to smart to ever let this happen. It was obvious today that they are out of touch with reality. You would think the powers to be would have had better sense than to put * out in front a front man if you will. IMPEACHMENT WAR CRIMES INPRISONMENT
