2. I don't see how
there can be room in the Democratic Party for people who could recommend a judge who makes snide remarks about "the so-called right of privacy"--and recommend this extremist and extremely dangerous judge for CHIEF JUSTICE.
I don't see how, but I'm sure center-sellout DLC apologists are thinking of a way.

5. What about the non-DLC sell-outs (Leahy, Feingold)
It would appear that this movement among Senators to back Roberts spans the ideological spectrum in the caucus.

12. Not at all

I was simply showing kenny blankenship that his argument that DLC membership does not appear to be a factor with supporting Roberts. Would you disagree with my assessment?

4. There should be background checks available for candidates...

For both democrats and republicans. I'd like the people to be able to see which republicans are really worse than they say, and which democrats are really republicans.

9. I wrote to both Pryor and Lincoln yesterday and told them I was
ashamed of their voting record and would no longer contribute to their campaigns. Both of them voted against an amendment, that did pass without their votes, to end the slaughter of wild horses. This amendment was pushed by the HSUS and Defenders' of Wildlife, etc.

Pryor's aid finally returned by phone call yesterday about the good senator's vote on curbing mercury pollution. He left his name and a DC phone number. It's too bad I just couldn't stay in DC through Monday or I'd sure have made an appointment with Pryor's office.
